Our sixth grade students are learning much more than to read, write, do math, and understand key concepts in science and social studies.
Sixth grade students participate in visual arts, dance, music, and theater. They increase their skills in each art form and learn how to research the histories of the forms. They connect their studies to the historic, cultural, economic, and other factors that influence the arts, and they explore New York City’s varied and rich arts resources.
