If you choose to administer an approved alternative K-2 assessment, you are no longer required to administer the ECLAS-2 assessments. However, schools have the option to continue administering ECLAS-2 and E-PAL to some or all of their students.
The following Periodic Assessments are approved alternatives to ECLAS-2 for schools serving students in grades K through 2 (click a link to jump to more information about the assessment):

Materials
Schools choosing TCRWP K-2 assessments will need to purchase a set of leveled picture books, one for each level A-J, for K-2 teachers. These are available at reduced costs from Scholastic or from Lee and Low. TCRWP’s Web site provides ordering information.
Funding
