Scantron’s Performance Series computer-adaptive assessment analyzes each student’s individual responses in order to zero in on the student’s current instructional level in Reading, Language, or Math, independent of grade level. Computer-adaptive assessments are especially relevant for addressing the needs of students who are performing two or more years below or above grade level, including Special Education students. Scantron’s Performance Series Assessment is available to EVERY student in EVERY building, regardless of which combination of assessments a school has chosen. Performance Series assessments may be administered up to three times each year. We recommend allowing twelve weeks between each administration. This frequency is ideal for guiding instruction and to accelerate student growth because it allows enough time for significant instruction in the content area to take place between assessments.Access Performance Series
