Wireless Generation’s mCLASS program offers handheld computers that teachers use to administer a variety of  assessments, such as ECLAS-2, DIBELS, and Reading 3D. These assessments provide screening, diagnostic and/or progress monitoring information to help measure students’ literacy development. The program also includes comprehensive reporting, training, classroom assessment materials, and ongoing school-based professional development.

Schools that participated in the program in 2007-08 may apply  to continue receiving DOE support for their participation in the mCLASS program for 2008-09.
