Students entering into the Academy in ninth grade will be on course for completing many high school requirements by the end of tenth grade, opening up opportunity for taking advanced placement courses. Setting the Scholars' Academy apart is the fact that the majority of instruction takes place in a school-wide cooperative group structure. COURSES & PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS Our teachers collaborate using a comprehensive pacing calendar to design projects and concepts that are connected across the curriculum; our students learn subject-specific content in a historical context which will enhance cross-curricular, real world application of what they learn in the classroom; we offer accelerated Regents Courses starting in grade 9 in US History and Government, Physics and English.
