Our Blue Ribbon school of Excellence is committed to ensure the highest academic potential for all of our students. Forest Hills High School serves the needs of our multicultural population with a challenging curriculum, communication with all strands of the Forest Hills High School community and extensive additional after school activities. Our goal is to have our students become responsible citizens in a democracy and become life-long learners.

Forest Hills High School will provide an educational setting that nurtures students, has high expectations of them, and challenges them academically to ensure they become lifelong learners and caring citizens.
Our school's activities include SING, multicultural clubs, sports teams, honor societies, publications, dramatic, musical, and art productions, community service programs, debate team, mock trial, moot court, and trips to Washington D.C.
We have partnerships, including: Columbia University, LaGuardia Community College, Polytechnic University, and Queens College; other programs: Part-Time Cooperative ED, and the JCCA partnership, and a major grant from the Bertelsmann Foundation.
