The Graphic Art and Design program teaches students the true essence of graphic design and how it is applied in business today through technology. 

This program prepares students for careers in:

• Graphic Design
• Advertising Design
• Typography Design
• Package Design
• Holiday Card Design

Students develop artistic talent and acquire the technical skills through courses in:

• Color Separation
• Graphic Designing
• Package Designing & Construction
• Advertising techniques

     The students at BTC learn to use digital technology to create graphics. The students learn by using graphic software such as: QuarkXpress, Photoshop, Appleworks and Powerpoint to create graphic communication through technology.
    Advanced students learn how to create corporate identity and develop loge designs and businesses forms that create the visual presentation for a business. 
    This program meets the 8^th though 12^th grade NYC Bluprint Benchmarks for teaching and learning in Visual Arts, Media Technology Art Making Standards.
