In today's society computers have become integrated into virtually all aspects of life and the more knowledge one has about these machines the better. Our technology program offers a fun and stimulating way for students to learn about a wide and diverse range of topics. Our technology lab consists of 35  computers. Each student has access to their own computer. We are networked together with the library. We are also connected wirelessly to the World Wide Web and are using the web for research.   Each classroom has 3 networked computers which are used daily in the classroom.
Every classroom at P.S. 203 houses a SMARTBoard, which allows teachers to prepare creative lessons for students to interact with.  Coupled with SMARTBoard technology, our teachers have been using Safari Montage and Study Island to help students master the content specified by the Common Core Learning Standards.
Other web-based programs include: World Book, BrainPop, Study Island,  Rally Words: Essential Vocabulary for Mathematics and Science and World Book Discover. Projects are integrated into the curriculum. Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, KidPix and Internet Explorer are used to enhance critical thinking skills.
