Children's Sensory Garden:
At PS255@PS151 we have aChildren's Sensory Garden that was started in 2009. Every year the students plant and maintain their garden. It is also usedfor various activities during the school year, such as scarecrow contest,pumpkin patch, and egg hunts for the students. Classes go out and use itfor plant study and storytime. It is a wonderful multi-sensory experience forour students that they really enjoy!

Girl's Club 7:
Girl's Club 7's primary goal is to allow each individual girl to shine inher own way and pace, to learn through play and communicate and socialize in astimulating, productive and fun environment.
Designed to address IEP goals over a periodover a year and give students the extra help they might not receive in aclassroom setting by working with them individually and/or pairing studentstogether using positive behavior supports and differentiated teachingtechniques. Art Club is a period where students work in the skills that areaddressed in art but need more refining to help them become better students andcontribute more toward an independent lifestyle.
255 Tech Squad:
The 255 Tech Squad is part of the national organization Mouse Squad. Mouse Squad is a program that createstechnology-based opportunities that motivate underserved students to succeed intoday’s information society.
