Visual Arts

An art teacher provides all students with visual art experiences at least once a week. The art work produced by the students touch upon, but are not limited to, the art forms of painting and sculpture. Art appreciation is an integral part of the curriculum. Student art work is displayed throughout the school, at local community events, and if possible, published in the student newsletter. In addition, once a week, students that demonstrate special ability in a visual art form meet independently with the art teacher.
