Never had I met any teacher who was so genuine in helping her students as Deirdre Tuite. She never worried about her lunch time or spare time and always offered to tutor and help those who needed her assistance. Whether it was school related or not, she always gave honest advice and support.
I really want to thank Ms. Tuite for her faith in me. She didn't give up on me even when I gave up on myself. Instead she pushed me enough for me to realize that I really could make it. Even after high school, having recently graduated and continued on to college, she still has kept in touch and has asked about my college courses and how life was going. I never thanked her for being a teacher, someone who really cared about her students. She was the one who really taught me to pursue my dreams and do things that would actually make me happy. Although it sounds simple, after thinking about it, I realize that she is right. Sometimes I felt like she believed in me more than I believed in myself. She always taught with her heart which really enabled me to see that there was no other teacher like her. The simple act of caring really expressed her true personality. Truly, I would really like to thank you, just for being you.
