Community-based organizations (CBOs) play a vital role in serving students and school communities in nearly all NYC Department of Education schools. By providing a host of academic, social, emotional, recreational, vocational and civic learning opportunities during the day and after school, CBOs offer NYC's students additional opportunities to develop, learn and grow. A range of competitive funded programs support many school and CBO partnerships. Please review the operations and procedures in place to ensure successful partnerships. If you have additional questions, you may contact the appropriate DOE division or your borough's CBO Liaison.
