The New York City Department of Education on behalf of the Office of Special Education Initiatives seeks proposals from organizations which are experienced in providing high quality professional development and consultation services in the area of Special Education. The DOE anticipates entering into requirements agreements with selected vendors who demonstrate through their ability to meet the needs and challenges outlined in this Solicitation.  The goal of this Solicitation is to form collaborations with organizations capable of delivering high quality professional development, consultation and training materials including but not limited to the following: Least Restrictive Environment, Collaborative Team Teaching, low incidence disabilities, bilingual special education, differentiated learning, special education legislation and regulation, assistive technology, behavior management, autism etc.
