The mission of P.S. 19, with the help of parents, is to instill a lifelong love of learning and foster self-esteem in every child. Our overall philosophy is that every child will be provided an opportunity to achieve academic success in a language- and literature-rich environment that is meaningful, stimulating and creative. This philosophy guides us in providing developmentally appropriate, interactive learning experiences. It is our belief that by providing choices and rich diversity of curricular opportunities each child's abilities can be developed to their maximum potential.
