  • Columbia University is looking for High School Students in our community. They  would like to invite you to apply for Columbia University paid summer internships.  This is a wonderful opportunity for local* high school students to gain real work experience before graduation. Previous work experience is a plus, but not required. Internships begin July 9, 2012 and end August 10, 2012.

    The deadline for application submissions is May 4, 2012.  For more information please see the attached flyer.

    has partnered with MVA to offer SAT prep classes for the SAT.

    *The course lasts from July to August and prepares students for the SAT
    *You can pay over the phone by calling the Ivy Key at: 646.355.9782

    *If it makes you more comfortable, you can have your student bring money to school and we will transfer it. If writing a check, it's QUICKEST to make it payable to "The Ivy Key"

    Applying to MVA starts with emailing Ms. Daehler, Admissions Director, at sdaehler@schools.nyc.gov for a required preliminary application and instructions regarding reserving a spot at an Open House.

    Open Houses will be held on October 21st, November 4th, November 5th, and November 18th. In order to make an Open House reservation, please email Ms. Daehler (sdaehler@schools.nyc.gov) A.S.A.P. for instructions. Due to limited space, and out of respect for those who follow admissions procedure, all unregistered walk-ins will be turned away, without exception.
