Our Mission
John Wilson IS 211 is committed to creating smaller learning communities which recognize the unique developmental needs and characteristics of young adolescents. We are dedicated to collaborating with the entire community of learners: our students, (general education, special education and ELL learners), teachers, parents, and administrators to plan educational programs which will provide our students with opportunities to foster academic talents, social skills, self-esteem, sense of citizenship and identification with their community. We believe that ALL CHILDREN CAN LEARN, ALL TEACHERS CAN TEACH AND THAT ALL PARENTS DO CARE.
