A Message from the Principal

    P.S. 225 was reorganized in September of 2002 to service children in grades Pre- Kindergarten through Eight. The diverse community we serve includes families from over 30 ethnic and cultural backgrounds. 

    Teachers develop a thematic, interdisciplinarycurriculum which provides meaningful and effective instruction to all of our students. Our English as a Second Language program provides intensive acquisition of language skills.

    Project Arts initiatives provide instructional enrichment through art, music and drama programs. This comprehensive academic program emphasizes student achievement in the content areas for all New York City performance standards.
