Extended Day Program
The Extended Day program for children who are invited to attend will start on Wednesday September 3, 2008. Parents of those children who are invited will be receiving a separate letter September 2nd inviting specific children to attend the program. The program will consist of small group instruction in various subjects. Parents of invited students are encouraged to send their child consistently to reap the benefits of the additional instruction. The program takes place through June 25, 2009.
Those children attending the Extended Day program will start school on Monday through Thursday mornings at 8:00 a.m. These students may enter the building starting at 7:30 a.m. through the door on East 63rd Street and Avenue U and have school breakfast at that time.
There is no program on Friday mornings and half days.
On these school days, students are to report to school at 8:37 a.m.
The building will not open until 8:10 a.m.
