Student Support
Information to assist in student learning, including curriculum and instruction, student assessments, and homework aids
Teachers offer small group instruction during paid preps to assist the needs of our students.

In addition we have Academic Intervention Services at P.S. 312

Our at risk students receive academic intervention services daily. All teachers provide Tier one services. These services are based on focus plans that are developed by the teacher in Reading, Writing and Math. The assessments are placed in focus folders and are reviewed periodically by the administration. The activities that are placed in each folder are tailored to help the students reach a specific goal. Some of the approaches used by our classroom teachers include lesson/modifications/adaptations, individual assignments, multiple intelligence approaches, peer tutoring, and hands on lessons.

Tier two services are provided by outside classroom personnel. The pull out and push in service delivers targeted academic interventions to meet the needs of the individual.

At P.S. 312 we offer services during and after school. The following is a list and a description of the academic intervention services that we provide at our school.
