Parent/teacher conferences can provide the opportunity to strengthen the partnership between parents and the school. Listed below are some questions for parents to consider before a conference. It may be helpful to write down information and questions to make the conference as productive as possible.
1. How does your child feel about school?
2. What area your child’s interests?
3. What things does your child do well?
4. What responsibilities does your child have at home?
5. Does your child get along well with others?
6. What are your child’s work/study habits?
7. What areas need improvement?
8. What problems does your child talk about?
9. Is your child upset about anything?
10. What does your child especially look forward to at school?
