Third Grade

3-233

3-233 was happy to participate in this year's March of Dimes walk-a-thon.  We believe helping others is important.  We walked with the rest of the school in laps around the blacktop outside.  We joined in chants, cheers, and songs.  In our class, we all wore our PS 26 shirts as well.  The school community had never been stronger.  This is just one example of how we show our school spirit.

Welcome to Rufus King Restaurant Row

Where the educated go to eat!!

We imagined we were entrepreneurs and designed menus for our  own restaurants.  Then we wrote, and solved word problemsbased on what we ordered from the menus!

Ms.Arzola's class enjoyed a special time of discovery when they embarked on their study of the country of Peru. Each was presented with a neckerchief symbolizing their advancement to "archaeologist" before beginning their investigation of the ruins at Macchu Picchu. Groups used hand-held magnifiers in their quest to discover the unique purposes of a particular building, making sure to cover their noses to prevent inhalation of dust from the site! A good, and safe, "journey" was had by all. Next stop.....the Nazca Lines!
