About Me:
Mrs. Schwartz graduated from St. John’s University. She majored in elementary education. She loves to visit the Bronx Zoo and the New York Aquarium because she always learns something new to share with her students! She also enjoys reading and going on vacation.
Mission For The Class:
The mission for the class is to provide all students with the educational opportunities to learn to the best of their abilities. We utilize a child centered, hands-on, integrated approach to learning in order to ensure that out students will become productive, informed, literate, and responsible citizens, as well as life long learners.
Homework:
Please check your child’s planner each night for homework assignments and reminders. Each night students should read one of their “dot” books for 20 minutes. Please help your child find a quiet place to read.
Please check your child’s homework folder daily for important notices.
Birthday Policy:
If you would like to send something in for your child’s birthday, please write me a note and let me know. We have 23 students in our class. (15 girls and 8 boys)
Star Student:
Each month, the students vote for our star students. Students need to wear their P.S. 46 t-shirt, or a white shirt to the assembly.
