Mrs. Marks' "Literacy Through Music" program is an interdisciplinary program. It integrates reading, writing, social studies, history, geography, math and science through the use of music and song lyrics. The children are taught to appreciate a wide variety of music and cultures. Children compose their own lyrics and poetry to well known melodies.
