Principal's Statement

We are proud of the achievements of our over 1,000 students who come from economically and culturally diverse backgrounds.  We were honored in the fall of 2006 by CEC as one of the most improved schools in our district.  Collaboration, assessment and professional development have propelled us forward in reaching our goals. Our Dual Language Program is in its fifth year.  By the time these students reach fifth grade, they will be bi-literate, bi-lingual and bi-cultural.  The Arts is a central point of study for all of our students.  Our fourth and fifth graders have the option of participating in an Environmental or Creative Design Program, studying Band, Visual Arts, Photography, Choral Music or Drama.
