Our Mission

It is the mission of I.S. 347 to provide all students with a safe, clean, and conducive environment in which each child will have access to standards-based learning experiences across the content areas. Upon graduation, each student will be able to proceed to the high school level able to confidently participate academically and socially as responsible young adolescents.

P.B.I.S. Mission Statement:

 

Our Mission at I.S. 347 is to implement a Positive Behavioral Intervention System/Supports (P.B.I.S.) within our school community.  In collaboration with the P.B.I.S. support staff in our building; we will develop school wide systems to promote positive behavior in all of our students.  Our motto at I.S. 347 is to “Catch our Students Being Good” and to focus on positive behavior daily.  The school will provide students and classes with various rewards for positive behavior.
