Federal law requires the Department of Education to provide the names. addresses, and telephone numbers of high school students to military recruiters and institutions of higher education that request this information. While we are committed to protecting the confidentiality of our students we must comply with the law.
Unless students and/or parents notify the NYC Department of Education in writing that they do not consent to the release of this information, We must disclose it to military recruiters and institutions of higher education that request this information.
